The 2008 edition is the seventh edition of the Agricultural Thesaurus, first released by National Agricultural Library in 2002. Terminology associated with fuels, chocolate manufacture, bodies of water and the US National Forest System were expanded this edition. The taxonomic classification of viruses was enhanced by the addition of acronyms used by the International Committee on Taxonomy of Viruses (ICTV). Approximately 70 new definitions in Spanish and English were added this edition. Thanks are extended to AgNIC Partners and all those who contributed suggestions for changes for this edition.
